Aion

So I have been gameless for quite some time now! Well time is a changing. I’ll be playing a new mmorpg game called Aion. I preordered it the other day and received a closed beta key, which I have been trying out…and wow! Absolutely amazing game, the game engine is by cryengine. It looks hella fun check out this cinematic video:

Stolen Gold/Yellow Datsun 1200 Ute in Canberra

Car featured in the background of the image.

Car featured in the background of the image.

My cousin had one of the nicest Datsun 1200 Ute’s on the road. Until today when some dumb shits stole his beloved car from his University of Canberra campus today in Belconnen ACT. Two kids were seen stealing the ute and tearing off to the nearest petrol station to fill up for god knows what of a joyride.

Let me paint the picture on the work my cous had done on this car. Bought the car a few years ago, stock. Rebuilt the engine, put a beautiful Gold yellow metallic paint job on it, stunning billet rims, turbo, new interior, new dials. It’s not the type of car you could run around town in and not get noticed. He appeared in the 2009 Summernats cruise after the long months it spent in a Sydney workshop.

If by chance you read my obscure blog and live in Canberra and see this stunning Datsun ute, report it to the Police as it’s not been driven by its rightful owner.  Thanks for your time.

Sleep walking dog

Had to add this by far the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I like animals and all but this is just too funny not too post.

Crazy people in the spotlight again!

I have to say this is some seriously fked up shit.

People falling in love with objects, and yes it’s not a joke, real feelings…

Saw this on Rove tonight.

Electric Violin

So one of my new years resolutions was to learn a musical instrument. I have been trying to decide what that shall be and I have decided to go with the electric violin. The sounds are truly amazing and whether I go with traditional classic music or even techno music it can be done ever so beautifully with the electric violin.  So thats the plan, first things first last time i played an instrument was many many years ago, so time to learn to read music again then I’ll be picking up a second hand violin and eventually an electric one. I plan to post my music on here in the not to distant future and hopefully it will show some vast improvements over time.  Check out this guy, I found the music on youtube and its just unbelieveable! The video is a little odd but the music is just beyond words.

Eagle Eye

Thriller starring Shia Labeouf and Michelle Monaghan, that just doesn’t stop, action packed. I actually heard nothing about this movie before hiring it, but woah glad i did. About 2 very ordinary people who get “activated for duty” to commit terrorist crimes on the United States of America. Great movie, great plot was very impressed. I give it 4 and half frogs out of 5.

Australia Twenty20

How impressive is the new Aussie Twenty20 team….damn warner can tonk a ball or 10, 80 something runs off less than 40 balls. Then we have Tait bowling 152km / hour … This team is exactly what our test team needs, new young team, with new skills! At least this comp is going to make for some entertaining cricket.

Taken

Action movie starring Liam Neeson. Woah what a full on movie that just doesn’t stop. Basically a young girl and her friend travel to Paris for their holiday, day one they meet a guy who turns out to be their kidnapper, that and a bunch of angry Albanians who run a slave trade of selling young girls to dirty old men for profit. Liam the father of one of the girls ex-spy goes to Paris to get his daughter back. It was on the edge of your seat kinda action, loved every minute. I give it 4.5 frogs out of 5. Highly recommend it.

Summernats 22

So its that time of the year again, Summernats where people with the love of beer, breasts and oh yeah cars are in town. Summernats 22 is gracing Canberra for potentially the last time, where owner and operator Chic Henry is looking to pack up and sell to Sydney. Now I’m sure alot of people out there will say good riddance to bad trash, but believe it or not it’s the number one tourism revenue gainer for Canberra. This means without the necessary Government support its been looking for they’ll most likely just abandon it and give in to another state. Sound familiar? Canberra has had the opportunity to have the V8’s here but that lasted all of 2-3 years before it was abandoned as well. Admittedly Summernats has been in Canberra for 22 years so where is the support for this tourism venture…Well I personally have never been to the show, as much as I love cars It just doesn’t do it for me, bunch of yobbos tramping around throwing water on any girl top for the hope that they can see breasts for the first time through a wet t-shirt. However, I think it will be huge loss for Canberra if we are to lose this event.

Welcome to 2009!

Happy new year to everyone, hope you had a blast in 2008 and that this year will be even better. I had some ups and downs in 2008 but life throws you those curve balls every now and then, so I’m going to say this year will be a year of laughing alot (without excessive amounts of alcohol), catching up with friends alot more (that’s right run and hide), fitness and well being. May be a broken record, but I think you reach certain point in your life when you tired of living in a rut and you want a new fresh start, that’s where I am at. No more regrets about what could have been, no more doubts about life, time to move on and live.
